Did you know that everyone has a pelvic floor? And, that it is part of our "core" also called " the center point in yoga practice? This relatively obscure area of our body is getting growing attention from researchers and therapists who are shining light on how pelvic floor dysfuntions affect both male and female bodies.

The pelvic floor is a group of muscles that stretches from the pubic bone to the tailbone, supporting the pelvic organs as part of the core. It plays an essential role in healthy body functioning including urination, defecation, sex and even emotional health. In this workshop, you will learn about healthy habits for your core and how yoga can help strengthen and stabilize this critical area of the body.
