    Join us in celebration of Spring. And support our own yogi Erin Conners as she attempts to run the Boston Marathon blindfolded.

     

    Erin will be running the Boston Marathon, representing the National Braille Press. Her goal is not only to run one of the world’s most grueling races, but also to help make braille material more readily available. Erin ran the Boston Marathon blindfolded in 2013 and wasn’t able to finish the race because of the bombing - she was a half mile from the finish. In 2014, she returned to finish what she started and completed the 26.2 mile trek, crossing the line on Boylston Street blindfolded. She is returning to take on the distance and hills of Boston and to support braille!

     

    So, in support of Erin, lets commit to complete 26.2 classes in 36.2 days. All classes count towards your goal of feeling great and supporting Erin at the same time!

     

    We will be holding a raffle in the studio and the proceeds will be donated to the National Braille Press.

    Jan Allen founded Bikram Yoga Seacoast - now Metta Yoga Seacoast - in 2008, bringing to the North Shore and the Seacoast a yoga studio deeply rooted in yoga tradition.

     

    In the process, she also created a wonderful community of people.

     

    The studio continues to specialize in the classic Bikram Yoga hot 26 posture beginner's 90 minute format, and also provides a 60 minute Commuter Express version that is offered early mornings.

     

    In addition, the studio offers classes in three other forms of yoga: a Vinyasa Flow practice which involves synchronizing the breath with a continuous flow of postures, a Yoga Sculpt practice that focuses on strength and intensity, and a Yin Yoga class that focuses on seated and supine poses at a slower, more passive, pace.

     

    Also, through its Special Events series, the studio provides the opportunity to experience additional yoga disciplines led by guest teachers expert in their fields.

     

    In the spirit of metta - loving kindness - Jan's studio will inspire you to live not only healthily, but also vibrantly, compassionately and joyfully.
